Nine Days w/ Winston Duke

I had the opportunity to watch Nine Days at Angelika Film Center, where Winston Duke hosted a Q&A afterward. The film was incredible, from the world-building, sound design, character development to asking the larger metaphysical question of what it means to be alive. It was insightful to hear Winston elaborate on the context behind certain scenes, explain Edson Oda's thought process and the relationships he built off-screen. Without providing too much detail, the film fully captures the subtleties of life. It is a story that everyone can enjoy. It was also a pleasure getting a chance to talk to Winston at the end and grab a photo.
